About M&D Grooming

M&D Grooming, founded by Marvin and Dana, is built on a shared passion for providing exceptional care to pets and their families.

Marvin is a certified dog groomer with over six years of hands-on experience, developed across multiple countries. Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, he began his grooming journey by interning under a professional groomer friend, where he trained and worked for two years. His career then took him to Pereira, Colombia, where he continued perfecting his craft for another two years, followed by three months in Barcelona, Spain. For the past two years, Marvin has brought his skills and international expertise to Wisconsin, USA. His global experience has shaped his mastery of diverse grooming techniques and styles, ensuring each dog looks and feels its best.

Dana, Marvin’s wife and business partner, plays a vital role as assistant, translator, and co-owner—making every client feel welcome and understood. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in K–9 General Education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and currently works as a middle school teacher.

Outside of their business, Marvin and Dana dedicate much of their time to their church community. They both serve on the worship team and in the youth ministry. While Marvin plays guitar in the back, Dana can be seen in the front lines singing. Dana is also involved in the media team and teaches at Tuesday Bible school.

Together, Marvin and Dana are committed to providing a professional, friendly, and stress-free grooming experience for every dog entrusted to their care.
